Do you feel that you have the skills necessary to create your own job? Have you got an idea or an FYP which you feel could make for a business venture? Would you like to leave UCC with more than just a base degree?

UCCSU in collaboration with the Entrepreneurial Society are now launching a programme called the Young Entrepreneur Startup. It will be run as lunchtime lectures and evening workshops in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland and the UCC Ignite programme. Students will learn the skills necessary to draw up to take an idea and make it into a viable business plan, make a pitch and the basics of business start up.

This seven week programme will culminate with the best students being selected for a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style evaluation by a panel of UCC staff and successful Irish entrepreneurs, and the best entrant will walk away with a prize of €3,000!
